Manager's Note:
Opening the doors seven months ago I really had no idea what lied ahead. I knew based on my previous work in Aruba that what I was about to do works and will work. The concept is unique to Providence, and the vibe as Caribbean as I could make it. Jimmy Buffet and Beach Boys playing for the lunch crowds, acoustic guys playing guitar at night as if on a pier in Aruba watching a sunset. And what better way to enjoy a sunset, with an Aruba Sunset fishbowl. Acoustic Karaoke and Team Trivia wrap up the nightly events, unless of course you count NFL Sundays and Mondays. Those beloved Red Sox in the 2011 Playoffs will be on TV too! (Yet to happen, but it will)
Our kitchen is pumping out food Monday thru Friday 11 Am to Midnight, with daily specials. Lunches are coming out in 8 to 10 minutes, which our business clientele loves. Late night eats include $1 Tacos! The house specialties are Fish Tacos and our famous, Pulled Pork sandwich, which originated at Smokey Joe’s in Aruba.
The crowd varies from just 21 to 65, on any given night, and it simply works. It really is an awesome place to sit back and relax, Island style.
